Sophia Koulidou is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of History and Archaeology and a student of the great prehistorian, George Hourmouziadis. She has received her MSc degree in Environmental Archaeology and Palaeoeconomy from the University of Sheffield. She is an archaeologist of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports, Ephorate of Antiquities of Pieria, with special interest in Aegean Bronze Age.
