About the Journal
Erofili is a digital, open-access, double blind peer reviewed academic journal which studies the research field of Modern Greek Literature. The journal (est. 2019) is published yearly by the Society of Graduate Students and PhD Candidates of the Faculty of Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, under the auspices of the Department of Modern Greek Literature of the same Faculty. The journal seeks to explore the terrain of Modern Greek Literature by studying its new research trends. It welcomes submissions from young scholars and researchers from across the globe such as Graduate Students, PhD Candidates and Post-Doctoral Researchers. The accepted submissions are original academic articles of various length, in English or Greek.

«[...] Στην περίοδο παρατεταμένης κρίσης που διέρχονται οι Ανθρωπιστικές Επιστήμες σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο, η αλληλοπεριχώρηση των επιστημονικών πεδίων, η επωφελής συνεργασία σωματείων, φορέων και ιδρυμάτων αλλά και η επέκταση του πεδίου των συνομιλητών πέρα από τα στενά όρια της ακαδημαϊκής κοινότητας αποτελούν μονόδρομο για τη Νεοελληνική Φιλολογία. Υπό αυτές τις συνθήκες, η Ερωφίλη εξελίσσεται σε ένα πολυπρόσωπο εγχείρημα το οποίο φέρνει κοντά νέους ερευνητές, πανεπιστημιακούς, επιμελητές, γραφίστες, βιβλιοθηκονόμους, προγραμματιστές, αναγνώστες, και πολλούς άλλους. Παραφράζοντας τον γνωστό στίχο του Σεφέρη: Εἶναι παιδιὰ πολλῶν ἀνθρώπων τὰ έργα μας.»
