About the Journal
Erofili is a digital, open-access, double blind peer reviewed academic journal which studies the research field of Modern Greek Literature. The journal (est. 2019) is published yearly by the Society of Graduate Students and PhD Candidates of the Faculty of Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, under the auspices of the Department of Modern Greek Literature of the same Faculty. The journal seeks to explore the terrain of Modern Greek Literature by studying its new research trends. It welcomes submissions from young scholars and researchers from across the globe such as Graduate Students, PhD Candidates and Post-Doctoral Researchers. The accepted submissions are original academic articles of various length, in English or Greek.

«[...] Σημείο κλειδί στην όλη αυτή προσπάθεια η επιδίωξη της συνομιλίας. Η Ερωφίλη δεν εκδίδεται από έναν εκδότη, ούτε έχει αρχισυντάκτη ― είναι ένα πολυσυλλεκτικό εγχείρημα που συνενώνει άτομα με ετερόκλητες αναφορές και γούστα και τα οποία μέσα από συλλογικές διαδικασίες προσπαθούν να φέρουν εις πέρας το απαιτητικό εγχείρημα που ανέλαβαν. Η επιδίωξη της συνομιλίας διαφαίνεται και σ’ άλλα επίπεδα: στα ίδια τα κείμενα που συμπεριλαμβάνονται από το πρώτο μέχρι το πέμπτο τεύχος και τα οποία προϋποθέτουν την αντίληψη του λογοτεχνικού κειμένου ως μέρους μιας ευρύτερης συνομιλίας, τόσο με άλλα λογοτεχνικά κείμενα ―σύγχρονα ή προγενέστερα― όσο και στον διάλογό τους με άλλες τέχνες.»
