About the journal

Objectives and subjects

Lexis (ISSN 2654-2129) is the electronic journal of the Department of German Language and Literature of the University of Athens. The journal is published on a regular basis (once a year) and is intended as a forum for theoretical reflection, scientific dialogue and the exchange of ideas. It hosts interdisciplinary, comparative, theoretical approaches on a wide range of fields (such as theory and criticism of literature, culture, translation, didactics, theoretical and applied linguistics, etc.). Call for Papers

The journal publishes original articles, interviews and reviews. Its content is freely accessible through Open Access.

Submission of manuscripts

The editorial team accepts only original manuscripts for first publication. All submissions (up to 6500 words) will be blind reviewed before being accepted for publication. To submit your paper, please use the submission function on our homepage (https://epub.lib.uoa.gr/index.php/lexis).All manuscripts submitted should adhere to the Lexis formatting guidelines.
